Great beaches at Kleinmond
We make a little detour into Kleinmond as the beaches and coastline are pretty spectacular here.

Hermanus
In the morning we call around for a B&B to stay in Hermanus. We book rooms with Pelagus House - a beautiful house with very comfortable rooms. The house is located right on the road with view of the ocean. You can see the whales swimming right from the lounge.

Having lunch and watch whales
Yes, it is true. The whales in Hermanus come so close to the shore that you can see them swimming around while having lunch. That's what we call a great whale watching spot!

And a head!
It is hard to make photos - but we do have some proof here. But with a pair of binoculars you can see them really well. Many moms still swim around with their calves.
