Leaving Oudtshoorn along R62/N12
The rain has finally stopped. It is still cold and damp, but we are riding again. At least we will still be able to see a little bit of the Klein Karoo. The road is narrow, no shoulder, and traffic is fairly heavy. Not very comfortable, but the alternate road options are gravel which is not a good choice after three days of heavy rain.

Looking towards Wilderness
The passage from George to Wilderness (N2) was busy and also had a short climb. But once on top, we had great views over the Atlantic Ocean and Wilderness. There is supposed to be a "back-road" called 7 Passes Road (at least that is what shows on the map), but we were not able to find it.

View inland from Haus Wilderness
In the morning, we make reservations for the night at Haus Wilderness. It looks very attractive on the photo in the booklet (contemporary villa), but it is a bit old, dated and not very clean. But the location is great, beautiful ocean views and right on top of the dunes.
